Varlamov's Save and Other Highlights

This isn't primarily a sports blog, but here's another jaw-dropping play.

From game one of the Washington Capitals-Pittsburgh Penguins series in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, check out Capitals goalie Simeon Varlamov's amazing save against the Penguins' Sidney Crosby:

The Capitals went on to win game one, 3-2.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Vancouver Canucks, who had a 1-0 lead in the series. Here are the game highlights:



The most impressive is Dave Bolland's short-handed goal, but with their 6-3 win, the Blackhawks have evened up the series, 1-1. Congratulations to both the Capitals and the Blackhawks, and best of luck to both for the rest of their respective series.
